Cat Owner & Founder
I’ve shared my home with cats for as long as I can remember: kittens raised from a few weeks old, nervous rescues who took months to trust me, and old cats I nursed through kidney disease and arthritis right to the end. I’m not a vet. I’m the one who’s sat on the bathroom floor at 2am trying to work out whether what I was seeing was normal or an emergency.
Every time, it was the same story, plenty of clinical information about cats, and almost nothing that joined it up into practical help for an owner who just wants to do right by their cat. The good advice was scattered, contradictory, or buried under something someone was trying to sell.
Cats Guide pulls it together, from years of living with cats and comparing notes with other owners, and a veterinary surgeon signs off every article. I’m an owner, not a clinician: my job is to keep this clear and useful, and to send you to your own vet whenever your cat needs one.
